Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by Scalingo SAS, 13 rue Jacques Peirotes, 67000 Strasbourg, France, on servers in France. When you open a page, the server records:
- your IP address
- the date and time of the request
- the address (URL) of the page requested
- your browser and operating system, as your browser reports them (the user agent)
We need this to deliver the site, keep it secure and find errors. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The logs are kept for one year, as French law requires of hosting providers, and then deleted.
Scalingo processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. The booking window from Cal.com (see below) may use its own cookies once you open it; Cal.com's privacy policy describes them.
Fonts
All fonts are served from this site's own server. Your browser does not connect to Google Fonts or any other font service.
Welcome video
The welcome video is served from this site's own server, not embedded from YouTube or another video platform. Playing it sends no data to third parties.
Booking a free consultation
The booking buttons open a booking window from Cal.com, a separate service with its own privacy policy. Cal.com's script is loaded only when you click a booking button; from then on your browser connects to Cal.com. Until you click, nothing is sent to it.
When you book, the data you enter there (your name, email address, the time you choose and what you would like to talk about) is used to arrange and hold the call. The call itself runs on Cal Video, Cal.com's video service. The legal basis is the steps you ask for before a possible contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15)
- have incorrect data corrected (Art. 16)
- have your data erased (Art. 17)
- restrict how we process it (Art. 18)
- receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20)
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 21)
To use any of these rights, email hello@dornhardt.com.
You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). In Cyprus this is the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (dataprotection.gov.cy). You can also contact the authority where you live or work.
Changes
We update this policy when the site changes, for example when a new service is added. The date at the top shows the current version.
